The First Story is the first book in the Creativity Series. The novel flows from the real world to the world of Creativity where story aspects are personified and autonomous.
The First Story
The story begins with Creativity, where the Toy Peddler has just finished a story. In the “real” world Matt and John are writing stories in the park after school. They are teenagers and love to create stories together. Matt adds artwork to the stories that John conceives.
When John is attacked by bullies and left in a coma, things take a dangerous turn in Creativity. The First Story has been stolen. The Toy Peddler meets up with the other members of the Council of Aspects to determine what should be done. Join The Toy Peddler, The Puppeteer, The Sister of Monsters, Baba Vedma and others as they try to find the powerful artifact before their world collapses.
Matt, in the meantime, is sitting beside John’s hospital bed and reading him stories. Some that they had created together and others that Matt comes up with. Follow Matt’s desperate attempt to save his friend as the beings of Creativity fight to save themselves.
